It’s your network
Lanview is designed to run within the organisation’s own environment, with management traffic kept under local control. It is designed around your devices, your server and your network, rather than forcing management workflows through another cloud console.
Control stays close to the network
Lanview is designed for internal Windows environments where local visibility and control matter. The platform is built around a Lanview Server, managed clients and a dedicated Studio interface rather than a cloud relay service.
Server-owned architecture
Lanview Server owns the database, validation, task state, routing and structured APIs. Lanview Studio uses server APIs and events rather than directly editing server data.
TLS-secured communication
Lanview components communicate over authenticated, encrypted connections, with certificate trust checks used to detect unexpected server identity changes.
Certificate trust and pinning
Lanview uses a practical Trust On First Use model for server certificate trust. Once a server certificate has been trusted, unexpected certificate changes are blocked by default and require deliberate administrative recovery.
Operator-owned configuration
Lanview’s startup configuration is designed to remain under operator control. Critical server startup settings remain in server-owned configuration rather than being editable through Studio.
No cloud console requirement
Lanview keeps administration local while still enforcing authentication, permissions and server-side control of sensitive actions.
Role Based Access Controls
Role-based permissions are enforced server-side. Sensitive actions can require explicit permission, user consent, an administrative reason or additional authentication depending on policy.
Two Factor Authentication
Lanview supports two-factor authentication for administrative access, including trusted-device handling that remains bound to the server identity.
Full Audit of Lanview Users
Administrative activity is audited centrally. Sensitive or disruptive actions can require a reason before execution, creating a clearer record of who did what and why.
Remote Desktop Access
Remote View starts without control by default. Control is a separate escalation and can be governed by permissions, policy and both require user consent.
